Last spring, the Brothers of Iota Tau were awarded the Community Engagement Award from the University of St. Thomas. The University of St. Thomas cited Sigma Chi’s exceptional work with both picking up trash in the neighborhood and weekly shovel services for households that can’t move the snow on their own. This past weekend, a group of brother had the privilege to travel to Milwaukee, WI, to assist with the installation of a new Sigma Chi chapter. At the installation banquet, The Iota Tau chapter was recognized by Grand Consul Michael Greenberg, and presented with a Grand Consul Citation, an award given outstanding service to the Fraternity.
This week’s featured brother is Scott Hird. Having been an active since Fall 2010, Brother Hird is currently the chapter’s most senior member.
